Altopiano della Paganella
One of the most impressive and beautiful Highlands in Trentino
The Altopiano offers a breathtaking view both of the Adige Valley and Trento in the east and of the lofty and magnificient Brenta dolomites in the west.
At only 20 km from the exit of the Brennero motorway (S.Michele all'Adige), lays one of the most impressive and beautiful Highlands, the Altopiano della Paganella, named after the mountain Paganella, whose peaks are 2125 m high.
The Altopiano offers a breathtaking view both of the Adige Valley and Trento in the east and of the lofty and magnificient Brenta dolomites in the west.
The Highland is characterised by wide, soft and fertile meadows, verdant pastures and luxuriant woods, which made their contribution to the development of a flourishing agriculture. The villages became then a well known holiday destination both in winter and in summer, especially because of the widely appreciated quality and the quantity of the sport facilities.
The environment's nature, completely surrounded of breathtaking views, represents therefore the real treasure of the region and is the king of all destinations for trekking, alpinism, excursionism and mountain biking lovers.
